Backstory

• Point of View developed Deuce alongside publisher Midway.

• You played as Deuce, the two of hearts playing card in a magical "Card Kingdom" or "Heart Castle". Your mission was to save the royal family from the Jack of Spades and his dragon with the help of a wizard and a warrior.

• It was designed as a third-person 3D platformer with melee combat, spanning 12 levels and sidequests.

• The PlayStation (PS1) version was cancelled by Midway in December 2000 due to a lack of confidence in the project.

• Brief plans to revive it for the PlayStation 2 in June 2001 did not materialize.
